Fring App for iPhone now allows you to make VOIP and Video Calls

If you have an iPhone and use Fring for chatting with your friends etc, there is good news for you. The FREE to download and use Fring App for iPhone has got a cool update and it now supports video and voice calls over a 3G connection. (Awesome, right?)

While Fring’s earlier version allowed you to make a voice call through Skype, the latest version has gotten a step ahead and doesn’t have any dependency on Skype for making the voice + video call over 3G / Wifi.

For those of you who are already using Fring, the App will auto-update next time you open it.

You can download Fring App for the iPhone from iTunes (download link).

Note: Please check your cellular operator’s terms of agreement to make sure they allow voip calls on their network before using fring.
