[Google] Apps Script Gallery for Google spreadsheets Launched
Google has launched another cool feature to the Google Spreadsheet product. The feature is called Apps Script Gallery and allows users to lets you write short programs that automatically perform simple actions within a spreadsheet.
Apps Script provides user with powerful and flexible scripting environment that lets you automate actions across your spreadsheets, sites, calendars, and many other services.
You can write your own app scripts or insert one of the already available script from the public gallery provided by Google. You can find these scripts, and more, in the Apps Script gallery by going to Insert and then selecting Script… in any Google spreadsheet.

In order kick things off for Apps Script Gallery, Google has also put together some demo scripts. You’ll find games of hangman and sudoku, some fractal art and a very practical unit conversion script.
