Apple is fast approaching 25 billion app downloads and the dominance of Apple clearly means that app developers will continue to make money, provided their apps solve a good need or provide some sort of entertainment to the user. In that spirit, a lot of app developers (yours truly included) get started with App development for iOS. However, getting started is usually not always so easy and that is the reason why Apple has come out with its latest official guide which it calls “Start Developing iOS Apps Today”.
“Start Developing iOS Apps Today” helps the reader get started with setting up the tools and then taking the reader to the next level by delving into the basic principles of app development for iOS. You can read the guide by clicking here. iOS apps are categorized into two segments, one which runs on iPhone (iPhone versions including iPhone 4S and iPod Touch) and iPad.
Apple App Developers also have an increased chance of getting hired in this otherwise sluggish economy as demand for apps for iPhone and iPad is continuously increasing.
Apple had some weeks back stated that they have 550,000 apps on the App store with 170,000 specifically developed for the Apple iPad.
On a side note – A few days back i did a video explaining step by step instructions on closing background apps on your iPad. The same process can be followed on your iPhone running iOS 4 and later.
